What is INTERRAIL?
It is a pass to travel on participating companies in 31 European countries and for ferry crossings between Italy and Greece, depending on the type selected. The range of Interrail passes includes Interrail Global Pass and Interrail One Country Pass.

It may be purchased and used by anyone living in one of the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, FYR Macedonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldavia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vatican City.
Passengers may also live in one of the following territories: Aland Islands, to Finland; Faeroe Islands, to Denmark; Gibraltar, Isle of Man and Jersey, to the United Kingdom; Svalbard and Jan Mayen, to Norway.
Residents in overseas territories belonging to European countries cannot purchase the pass.
It is personal and non-transferrable meaning passengers need to show ID and their date of birth by showing their National ID card or passport including a photo.

There is no age limit for travelling on an Interrail pass. In addition to the adult pass, the following types are available:

"Youth" aimed at young people who on the first day of the pass validity period are under 28.

"Senior" aimed at adults who on the first day of the pass validity period are 60 or over.

“Child” aimed at children between the ages 4 and 11. This pass is free when they travel will adults (limited to two children per adult).

An Interrail pass can be purchased in Spain up to 3 months before the first day of the validity period.
Interrail offers unlimited possibilities. Passengers can discover great European cities, each with its own fascinating, unique and vibrant allure (The Grand Tour: Paris – Brussels – Amsterdam – Frankfurt – Vienna); discover Eastern Europe with its unique atmosphere and positive outlook (New Europe: Berlin – Warsaw – Ostrava – Prague -- Budapest – Ljubljana) or focus on a single country, Italy for example, and discover the surprising regions that showcase the magnificent beauty of the country and its rich culture (Mediterranean Beauty: Milan – Genoa – La Spezia – Viareggio – Pisa – Florence).

The Interrail pass is accepted on most trains in Europe. Nevertheless, booking is recommended for some high-speed trains, while for others, it is not mandatory.
These bookings are not included in the pass, guarantee a seat (or berth) on a specific train and, at times, include additional services.

Bookings can be made in advance at the main Spanish stations, online at www.interrail.eu or at local stations in each country on the trip.
